I rented this game 2 days ago, and was trying to play, but I couldn’t because only thing you do here is listning to conversations. It is same like watching a movie, but sometimes you can play for 10 seconds.Be carefull; if you die you have to wait another 10 minutes to play it again.Plus to many downloads!
Do not buy this game it dosn’t worth your many.

I am fairly new to the xbox domain but i had played a lot of pc games earlier. I had played games like tomb raider ,max payne recoil to name a few earlier and then decided to jump into xbox since i got a job recently and i could afforf it. But once i started the game i just cudnt stick with it for long. I was bored right from the day one. I couldnot retain any damn interst. Its so damn boring. the main problems are:
The combat is very boring. The demons or whatever are way to easy to kill. Just keep hitting the A button and some where they will die for sure. No strategies nothing.
The story is kinda boring. I never got into its long verbose dialogues. You wont believe me but the dialogues run for almost like 5-7 mins and then a short combat scene and another 5-7 mins of dialogues. I m not a big fan of listening to the story when i am ther to play.
No strategies or planning required unlike many other games. When u compare it with games like Tomb Raider and Max Payne you will realise what i am talking about. You need some skill to clear the levels in those games. In this you just need patience to sit and keep listening to the dumbass crap spoken by the characters.
Fighting styles etc are no big deal. You can kill the enemy with just one or two default styles and since you get used to it from the begining of the game you dont feel like switching to the other new styles which have no better effect.
As I said earlier the game is way tooo easy for some looking for some action to play. Moreover the verbose conversation literally SUCKS!!!
ITS BY FAR THE MOST OVERRATED AND HYPED GAME OF THIS YEAR.
I bought GTA and Ghost Recon and i ended up playing the same map again and again in it. Thats the kind of interest it generated.
GHOST RECON rocks seriosuly! but if only we had more maps in it. Otherwise its awesome!
In a nutshell. If you are looking for some action better not go with this game. It sucks big time. Go for some real action packed games like medal of honor, halo etc..but definetely not jade empire !

This game was the bigest disapointment of the year. Every one kept sayin how great it was and all this hype about the best rpg of the year. Well you were all wrong this game is garbage. I hated it and it was soo dam boring i never even wanted to keep playing. But the worst part was that i actualy paied 50$ for it when its worth about 15$.I will even admit the story was prety good and it had a good idea but the story didnt stick together and the good and evil part was stupid. As much as i wanted to keep going evil its like it wouldnt let me even if i helped 1 person for money it still brought my meter up to the good side, it just didnt go good with the game.And the combat was horible it was the worst fighting ever it was like fighting on a ps1 game it was clunky and cheezy, and it seemed like i just kept doin the same moves over and over. It did sound cool that you could turn into a demon but that was even lame when u you get it, like who the hell wants to turn into a big ass ugly frog? The game is just straight up boring and every convo you have its like they make you think about every single answer you give even for the stupid convos , that just gets boring , Well over all it had a good story but it wasnt enough to save the game cuz this game was lame and boring and too repetitive. I might have liked it more if so many people didnt hype it up so much and i didnt pay 50$ for the dam game. My advice if you didnt play it , rent it or wait till it gets cheaper to get it. But if i was you id just stay the hell away from this boring game

I was so stoked about this game after all the great reviews, that I went out and BOUGHT AN XBOX,JUST TO PLAY THIS GAME!
I GOT HOSED!!
I started this game and loved it, until about my 3rd hour of dialogue that is damn near impossible to avoid! Dont get me wrong, I have no problem with well written dialogue in a story, (See Clerks!!, Or any other Kevin Smith Movie for a great example of hillarious dialogue!!!), however, I dont need hours on hours of script in a game!
What the hell is up with the long load times?! I remember games like Twisted Metal 2, and the Original Tomb Raider, that had load times like this!
These load times are sick in this day of Next-Generation systems!
So some pluses and minuses!

- This game pissed me off so badly with the Load Times, and Endless, Endless, Dialogue, that I couldn’t even finish this.
I am returning this game the DAY AFTER I BOUGHT IT!
I’m sorry gang, I was so stoked that I bought an XBOX just to play this! I’m returning this game and buying “God Of War”.
I hope Bioware can get it right on a second go around!

This game has some beatiful scenery, and…well, that’s about it. This game commits the cardinal sin of video games: it’s very boring. And I’m a huge fan of KOTOR, so I’m not averse to talky talkiness, but the generic story, tedious combat, and uninteresting stat/ability system caused me to sell this game quicker than any game I’ve ever had. Just beware.
