I rarely write reviews to personally address other reviews of a product, as you would notice if you were to read a few of them. However, I feel the whiny personal complaints and nitpicking here warrant a counterattack. First off, maybe Halo CE is better than Halo 2 if you like unbalanced weapons and running through the same levels a second time - backwards. But personally I prefer more variety and depth in my games.

That's not to say that Halo CE isn't a great game. At the end of this review, where I actually make my recommendations, you will see that I in fact have lots of praise for it. However, many people cling to sentimentality and familiarity. Maybe Halo CE's campaign was revolutionary in some ways, but Halo 2's is clearly an improvement. I refuse to be blinded by my bias towards whatever came first; Halo 2 enriches the Halo universe and it's storyline significantly. Halo CE by comparison is a relatively simple and typical FPS storyline: "shoot to survive." As far as the Arbiter, I'm sorry if you prefer to draw nice easy to read lines between good and evil, but I personally am intrigued by the idea of playing from and learning about both sides. Also, at least the Arbiter has some attitude - I can only take so much of the Master Chief's cheesey one-liners.

And in the end, all I can suggest is that you stuff your big opinions and just enjoy two games that are both incredibly well made (I can't think of any better reason to buy an xbox than these two games, with the possible exception of Morrowind.) This pack is a great opportunity for people that didnt catch all these games the first time around. In addition to Halo CE and Halo 2, it comes packaged with the Multiplayer Map Pack. I have written an extensive review of this product on its own but rest assured it was almost all positive. So it is certainly no reason NOT to buy this product if you dont already own these three items.

This is Microsoft just trying to get more money for an ageing game. I love this game, this is a fun game with a great story, and you have to read the books to understand the full story. It's the only game that does the whole thing well. People say the first game was nothing but a repeat of levels. True; however, it made the game have a more real feel to it. Why would you build diffrent rooms everywhere on your space ship? Or on a ring world for that matter? It was to the point, Hey this is a working ship, and this is a working Ring thing. What made the game was the Enemy you fought, and the Story behind it. Halo Two was fun, but the end killed the greatness it could have been. Halo three better pick up where Halo 2 left off. As much as I love this game this three pack will not become apart of my Halo Collection. I already own both games for X-Box, and 3 copies of the First Halo on computer. I got the four books, and the Comic, and both CD's. I also can not wait for Halo 3, and the Halo Moive! Ok, one thing about this Three pack. 79 dollars!!!!! Come on, if I bought all three in their orginal case, it would only come up too 56:97 + Tax. So why, on earth would you buy this? By the orginal games, it will be all three disk, but with the WHOLE BOX ARTWORK! Heck even if I bought all three and a computer copy of the game it would be 3 dollars cheaper. This would not be a good buy, unless they lowered the price.

Halo 1 is being left in the dust, I infact like Halo:CE better than Halo 2. I miss the campaign and the fun of enjoying the entire game. Halo 2 is awsome in multiplayer, but campaign sucks. Bungie better get with it for Halo 3, and they better kill the Arbiter, Chief is the bomb and the badass. Anyways I love the Halo saga and reccomend this package for anyone who has just bought the Xbox or hasn't gotten these games. The halo 2: mutiplayer pack is just to enhance the halo 2 exsperiance. By giving you 9 new maps and some extras. my gamertag is Kato Si.

I don't have my own account on Amazon.com, so I can't use a review where I type in my name and password. But you are probably wondering why I am writing this now. Well, I'm at my public library, and I'm using their computer, so I have to make this review quick. I have an XBOX only because my cousin gave it to me. He is rich. He invented the Toaster Strudel. This is no joke. His name is Raphael. Anyway, Halo is a fun game. It is the best and only game I've ever played. I love it more than I would love to own a pair of shoes and have running water at my house. Uh oh, the main lady at the library is telling me my time's up. So in conclusion, buy this game. It rocks out loud!! Ta ta for now!!
