FIFA 06 IS MOST DEFINIATLY THE WORST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED. bad game play, block graphics, terrible load times, they have like 10 seconds buttons delay (send EA an email that this is 2006), there is absolutly no reason for 9 seconds delay in 2006 0r even 05. Even games made as early in 1994 no longer have delay. If you have fifa 04, continue playing playing it. If you have fifa 05, this might be a very good upgrade. Fifa 05 was way terrible than this (fifa06). -5 out of 5. I AM REALLY SAD THAT THERE IS NO “0 OR EVEN -5 RATTING”. Thanks for reading. PLEASE DONT BUY THIS GAME

For all of us who first tried the Kick off in Atari st almost 20 years ago we expect much more from a mid 00′s console soccer game. The graphics are really good and that’s why I give it three stars but I didn’t like the fact that the game includes limited number of teams (32 only)and I believe that the interface should be friendlier. I did try the game only in my Xbox because all the reviews mention that this is its best version.

I’ve played many sports games, but never soccer. Unfortunately, I believe my experience with this was not the best possible, although it wasn’t miserable.
I did not expect a game from EA to be easy (compared to the others I’ve owned/played), but this game quickly left me feeling like I had no chance whatsoever. After a few 2-3 hour stints of frustration I finally started a game as Bayern Muenchen, one of the better teams possible (imho, of course). I actually scored my first goal, although I lost 1-4. For those who have played soccer games for years, or even just more than I have, I think it has much potential. For me, I chose to take the managerial route. This also means that the coordination skills are removed, and you then have to learn the quirks of the game to build a good team. It’s almost a completely different game altogether, and it adds a nice touch for those who don’t have the time to build up all the coordination skills.
Basically, it requires skills beyond my own. Even the easy settings have yet to allow me to win a game (I’ve scored one more goal since my first… in about 20 hours of play). I’m not a Xbox guru and the controls aren’t my strong point in life. I don’t play more than a few hours a week, so I’m sure if you’ve got the time and the extreme love (unlike most Americans), it’d be a great game.

this game is sick you could do crazy dekes you could make the other player look dumb.theres also maneger mode its really good you could actualy get better coaches if you go under budget you could get fired and it tells you your ratings from 1 to 10 first you have to start off with a not to good team then when you get better thats when you get to pick the good teams.and you get to create your own tournement thats pretty cool. I reccomend you to buy fifa 06 its a great game
