I ordered Rockband 2 for the Wii on December 19th. It was to be a present for three of my sons from their older brother. We ordered it through amazon because we purchase 95% of our gifts from amazon.com Well, it was supposed to be delivered on Dec 24th. It was never came. It was shipped through FedEx and they claim that it was shipped and delivered on Dec. 31st and left on my front porch. Who in there right mind would leave a package on someone’s front porch? I believe that the driver from FedEx gave himself a nice Christmas present. Now i can’t even get it re-delivered because Amazon doesn’t have it in stock. Next time, i will make sure I purchase big and expensive items at a physical store so i can make sure I have it in my hands. My kids are sad and my oldest son is crushed that his big surprise was ruined. I really hope Amazon switches shipping companies.

I received Wii Rock Band 2 Special Edition without the game DVD. All the same sets in the retail stores come with the game DVD There was no game DVD in the set sent. I had to go out and purchase the game from ToysRus on the night of my Grandson’s birthday which meant the Wii game I purchased online ended up costing me more than if I had just bought it in the store. Also, it was supposed to be a new game but it did not come in the correct packaging. My entire family was very disappointed.

Received wii rock band 2 today from Amazon. Pleasantly surprised. Pre-ordered with 2 day express shipping back on Nov 21st. When ordered, didn’t expect until after Christmas given orig ship dates and didn’t expect until ~Christmas when the new ship date from Rockband (believe Dec 18th)to retailers got announced recently.

It won’t get opened for a bit, so no review of the game here yet, but wanted to acknowldege the pleasant surprise from Amazon!Wii Rock Band 2 Special Edition

THERE IS 2 OUT OF THREE WORKS TOGOTHER USUALLY MICROPHONE WITH GUITAR OR MICROPHONE WITH DRUMS ,I DONT KNOW WHAT IS THE PROBLEMS ,THE CATALOG IS NOT CLEAR OFR CONNECTION

My husband bought this game for our kids for Christmas and it’s going back. If you are the type of parent who cares about what images your kids see you may want to think twice about purchasing it. The opening scene on the disc presents two bands speeding through the dessert standing on pickups…chick scantilly clad with mohawk, brauny guy twirling one of those iron spiked ball weapons. (Just charming) Think thunderdome. Lots of punk imagery, the selection of attire for your bandmembers leaves alot to be desired, if you’re of a more conservative slant.
