All three games in the trilogy have been crafted into one unbelievable package, with a newly implemented exclusive title menu with direct access to any of the three titles. Not only that, but players can also earn awards by collecting tokens through their progress across the trilogy, making for an ideal award system. Both Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes games have been updated with the refined control system of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Moving is done with the Control Stick and the Nunchuck controller, while the Wii Remote controller controls the Arm Cannon's crosshairs, allowing the player to smoothly and more accurately aim by pointing at the screen. The camera will move where the player points, making for more intuitive control, and allowing players to look around and attack while moving. I have never played any Metroid games but i must say I am impressed by the way nintendo released this title, got a nice poster and a cool t-shirt with it,its to bad these companys think all gamers are fat lol only size they had was XL but hopefully it will shrink to a large by washing it. Since both MetroidPrime 1 and 2 go for around $20 dollers and part 3 goes for atleast $40 you would save money. Im not really a huge FPS fan only ones ive played are Goldeneye 007, and Left 4 Dead so i am very much hopeing that this game is fun and not boring since i am starved for a good wii game.

I havent yet played this game but take note that this is Nintendos second Double layered disk. This meaning that if the lens is even slightly dirty, the Wii will not read the disk. If this problem occurs there is an official Wii lens cleaning kit for sale. I will try to post an actual gameplay review once my kit comes in.Wii Lens Cleaning Kit

Double layered, Wii can’t read. All of my other games work just fine. I wish I had researched feedback for this game on other game sites. Seems like this is common for the Wii to have problems reading this game. I will be returning my sons birthday present.

A good question that deserved deliberation. With all three top rated games in one package for less than $50.

I never much cared for the control scheme of “Corruption,” but being able to play the very first Prime all the way through again with some slightly upgraded visuals was enticing enough to convince me to purchase this set. While I found the marketing repellant, I knew what I was getting for my money, and I’m not disappointed in any way. Everything works as well as can be expected and all your old favorite environments are here, mostly unchanged. waiting to be explored again. The biggest drawback of course is that all the old bugs have been fixed, thusly breaking most of the sequence breaking tricks that would have otherwise allowed you to nab you the plasma beam before you hit Thardus.

If you somehow managed to miss the first Prime, then I’d say this is worth every penny. If you’ve been through it dozens of times and weren’t as greatly impressed by Echoes or Corruption, then it’s entirely up to you whether you prefer the GC controller or the Wii wand thingy, and whether or not you want to keep on playing it on the next console–which probably won’t swallow those tiny little GC discs anymore.
