Wow, so disappointed!! Maybe I was expecting too much …
Ok, what I liked, didn’t like, and why –
This is a very cheaply made game. There are no moving character. Every video game out there is just that a VIDEO game. This is a comic book game where the characters are popped on the screen and a bubble appears over their head. There isn’t even talking. You have to read the bubbles. OMG. I thought we were light-years beyond this. ATARI GAMES WERE BETTER THAN THIS. And this is Wii!!!?????!!!!! The INTERACTIVE SOFTWARE GAMING OF THE FUTURE?
Ok, I’m in my 30’s and love puzzle games, etc. You know, where you are given two pictures and are asked to find the differences? Kinda fun right?!
Well, that’s it for this game. You find either objects in a picture or the differences in a picture. This is the bar game I mentioned in my title. That’s it. That’s all this game does. Swear, it doesn’t get any better. This game has absolutely no interactive qualities. None.
I’ll sell you mine if you are interested for your kid. I would think the age group would be between 8 and 12 maybe? It might hold their interest for 30 minute snatches but I seriously seriously doubt it.
THIS GAME REALLY SUCKS.

I like the adventure games over the ’shoot-um-up’ or ’smash-um’ games and this is GREAT!! Gave it a 4 only because some of the words are spoken but not all so you have to keep an eye on the screen for the text. I would recommend this game to others.

Hmmm, borrowed this game today from the library and played it with my eight year old. She liked it. I liked it. We got up to the end of chapter 2 but it goes up to 15 chapters per the cover info. Very easy to learn. If you’ve ever played the computer/video version of I Spy then that’s a lot what this game is like. Cate West is a character who gets these visions about crimes; you either find stuff hidden in the vision or you spot the differences between two pictures. Each chapter sort of repeats the steps; new stuff to find but nothing yet to move a greater storyline along. Maybe when we get farther?? The Wiimote works okay; perhaps more fun doing it on the TV than on a smaller computer screen as a PC version, which is more of what the game reminds me of. The Wiimote arrow must be RIGHT ON the picture you want to select in order for it to recognize it. I like that the B button on the wiimote acts as a magnifying glass to zoom in on the picture, BUT the resulting image zipping around will make people watching dizzy. Generally, the game is a bit easy. For instance, in certain parts you need to find 8 out of 10 hidden objects to pass on to the next level. And you have about 20 minutes to do it in. Okayyyyyy, fine for an 8 year old doing it alone, but anything older than that will be underchallenged. The game gets a rating of 10+ for tobacco & violence references but I think the range is probably more like 7 years up to whenever your kid is too old to be amused by search and find stuff. I’m probably more interested in it as a mom than a typical teenager. Anyway, in a nutshell, this is really a renter, not a game to own.
