what are all of those switches, you ask? That's a AUTOFIRE feature. Instead of banging on the button to shoot like some sort of caveman, this controller lets you either set it to bang-bang-bang with a button hold (second position), or go pressless with the 3rd position. The A, B, X, Y, L, R and even the start button is represented.

It's a little heavier than the stock controller, and has 99% of the awesome button response that the SNES had. I used a standard controller for the depressed buttons when I'm playing Chrono Trigger/non-arcade games, but for an arcade game, there's nothing better.

And in SF2, going a lightning kick, hundred hand slap, or electricity just got a lot easier.

I cannot stress how good the button response is for this controller. You press a button and the game is responding now. In my opinion, this controller is superior to the snes stock controller even without the autofire feature.

Autofire just happens to be timed on this pad to allow you to use the bombing technique on Super Metroid (where you lay bombs to lift yourself into the air).

What I found useful was the A,B,X,Y buttons are very slightly more spread out than the official snes controller. This is very useful if you ever need to simulatiously press the X and B buttons (or Y and A).

One of the best contollers I have ever used.

It works great! I love the fact that with the slide of a button you can have your character go turbo. This means that if you have to keep keep pressing a button to use a sword then you slide the right switch and the sword will keep going and going until you slide the switch again back to normal. I would recommend this product to any super nintendo owner.
