Ok ive got 3 good things to say about this game,
1. Graphics are colorful
2. Theres blood
3. It was free
the controls are broke, its literally a button masher without the buttons. The camera is fixed and by that i mean broken, it blocks your view often. There are loads of weapons (spelling error?)and some are really fun others are just plain stupid. Its very very very gory. The story is kinda cool but they just messed it up with everything else. Not really to fun to play either its just really boring overall.
btw it was my free game at the best buy sale thats why it was free. If i had to pay for it then no i wouldnt recommend it otherwise id say its a cheap psn game.

This game appeals to those of us with sick senses of humor. Think: the cuteness and wrongness of SouthPark’s Woodland Critters meets Lego Indiana Jones. That’s the best comparison I can make- the co-op gameplay is very similar to the play styles of the Lego series (Indiana Jones, Batman, etc.) As in those games, Fairytale Fights has some frustrating puzzles and things that just seem idiotic, where you die repeatedly and lose your money. But, they are infrequent enough that they don’t overshadow the overall fun of the game. If you enjoy Gauntlet-type hack and slash games with a huge dose of silliness, lots of blood and gore, then this game is for you. As other reviewers said there are some annoying things with the camera and not being able to change angles, but some of the settings can be changed, such as the zoom feature, which you can turn off, and it helps immensely (otherwise it blocks your view when you do some kind of epic move. We turned it off.) My husband and I are both in the video game industry, and while there’s some changes we’d personally make to the game if we could, we enjoy playing this together quite a bit. The more people you have, the better. I think it might be a little more boring and less fun as a single player.

This game is not that bad. It doesn’t have mind blowing graphics like a next gen game should. It is sort of like Fat Princess meets Little Big Planet. I paid $60 bucks for it and honestly it is not worth that much. This is a $30 game at best. It is fun chopping up characters and skating around in their blood, but it does get old especially when it is not an open environment. The boss levels are a bit challenging so there is some hope. Unfortunately, you never really die. I mean you do, but you keep coming back to where you left off. There are 50 trophies to get, if anything that should keep you interest for a while. I tried to play online, but I don’t think a whole lot of people own this game yet (nobody there). This game will probably become more popular as the price drops. It is fun and the animations are humorous so if you got cash to burn or you have a twisted sense of humor like myself then add this game to your collection otherwise rent it or wait till the price drops.

Pros
1. Tons of weapons
2. Interesting storyline
3. Multiplayer (Offline and online)
Cons
1. Bad Camera Angle at times
2. No ‘Main Menu’
3. EXTREMELY Repeative
Summary
Unless you absolutely love Hack n Slash games, blood, and gore, I would suggest taking your money elsewhere.
